Currently, all public hearings are scheduled as part of the regular City Council meetings, held at 7:30pm at the City Hall, 70 N. Presentation on the overall project, the line-drawing tools available to the public, the project schedule, and initial public hearing on the how the districts should be drafted.

Second presentation on the overall project, the line-drawing tools available to the public, the project schedule, and initial public hearing on the how the districts should be drafted.

Deadline for initial map submissions from the public.

Tuesday, May 22

Draft maps and proposed election sequencing posted to project website and available at City Hall.

Tuesday, June 4 (Regular Council meeting)

Council  hearing to solicit “input regarding the content of the draft maps and the proposed sequence of elections.”

Tuesday, June 18  (Regular Council meeting)

Council  hearing to solicit “input regarding the content of the draft maps and the proposed sequence of elections.” Selection of map, selection of election sequence, and introduction of ordinance.

Tuesday, July 2 (Regular Council meeting)

Council conducts 2nd reading and final adoption of ordinance.
